What was the first song/riff/solo from a shred band or artist that you learned?

I think for me it was Evil Eye by Yngwie, if not the intro to Technical Difficulties by Racer X. I learned them both around the same time.

Hmm... the first one I learnt as actual shred was jani's young guitar demo, the first lick was from Wolf and Raven, of Sonata Arctica

I know it's true, because I read it at the back of a matchbox.

symphony of destruction. thats the first "shred" solo i learnt from start to finish.

Ilearnt others before that too but bits and pieces. Im pretty lazy so i usually just learn the intro to the solos and give up real soon if the going gets tough.

symphony I HAD to learn. Its just such a great solo.

True, I had to learn the Symphony solo for a college performance once, was fun. I definately think the best Megadeth guitar solo ive heard (Also by Marty) is for the song ''Tornado of Souls''
