What about Gilbert and his drill though? Several thousand RPM, 3 notes per revolution, you do the math

Yeah, I don't know wtf RPM means. Revolutions per minute, I assume, but I've never heard that term.

Yes RPM, is revolutions per minute, it's used in egineering a lot, it is how drills and motors in genral are rated.

Let's say his drill turns 2000 times in a minute, (speed of your average drill) and the drill hits the strings 3 times per revolution, that means 6000 notes in a minute, which means Gilbert plays at 100 notes per second.

who would give a shit anyway because then its just a waste of life to try and play with nothing then speed
i mean even michael angelo/cooley/shawn lane (fastest shredders) will tell you that they feel some kind of soul from shredding, but it doesnt come from the sheer will of "hey dude i can play so fast it doesnt even sound like a guitar anymore!"

So i did an f ionian at 80 nps. It goes Vwip Vwing!!

I can imagine hearing 80 nps if you have beyond perfect hearing(some people have better than perfect vision). I have perfect hearing and i can make out the notes up until about 250, then I lose track of how many are there.

This guy is bogus. Beyond that, this guy is FUCKING BOGUS!
