So ive heard really good things about this game, my friend keeps telling me to get it. I'm considering re-buying a dreamcast just to play it, it does look good from what ive seen...

Meh, they just lost out because of their huge production cost.
I remember hearing Shenmue was one of the few Dreamcast games to break 1,000,000 units worldwide. I could go on and on about how the media made it seem like it bombed, but I'll just let you decide to do...whatever!

Yeah, I heard it wasnt the games quality was the reason it flopped, I heard something like every dreamcast owner would have to buy the game twice for it to gain profit...

Lol, pretty much.
It didn't help that (this is also the reason Dreamcast died) their system pretty much allowed users to play ripped games without modding. Also a plus for you btw

Great game, took a while for me to get into it, but I gave it time and eventually did.

Cool man, glad to hear you stuck with it, it took a few plays for me too.
I HIGHLY suggest you pick-up Ikaruga, Power Stone, and Marvel VS Capcom 2 for the DC if you're looking for some here-and-there games.
